Come imparare due lingue allo stesso tempo

Le lingue straniere hanno un peso sempre maggiore e ciò spinge tante persone ad impararne una. Di lingue ce ne sono tante nel mondo e qualcuno preferisce impararne più di una allo stesso tempo. Se i bambini crescono bilingui, non avranno problemi. Il loro cervello sarà in grado di apprendere due lingue in modo automatico. Quando crescono, i bilingui sapranno riconoscere le caratteristiche delle due lingue. Negli adulti, il processo non è così automatico. Innanzitutto, non è molto semplice imparare due lingue nello stesso tempo. Nell’apprendere due idiomi, bisogna rispettare le loro regole. Magari può essere importante procedere ad una comparazione delle due lingue. Quelle che appartengono alla stessa famiglia linguistica sono simili fra loro. Questa somiglianza può causare anche confusione. Per questo, sarebbe meglio analizzare correttamente la struttura delle due lingue, approntare una lista delle loro peculiarità, delle somiglianze e delle differenze. In tal modo, il cervello potrà lavorare in modo intenso sulle due lingue, riconoscendo le loro peculiarità. Si potrebbero anche distinguere le due lingue, usando colori diversi o raccoglitori. Quando non vi è parentela linguistica fra gli idiomi, il pericolo di confondersi dovrebbe essere minore. Spesso si fa l’errore di comparare due lingue assai diverse, mentre sarebbe più produttivo operare un confronto fra lingua straniera e lingua madre, dal momento che il cervello riconosce il contrasto ed apprende più velocemente.
