Shkencëtarët kanë një teori. Ata besojnë se truri i tyre përdor më intensivisht një zonë të caktuar të trurit. Kjo është zona me të cilën njerëzit që shohin përpunojnë stimuj vizualë. Kjo zonë nuk përdoret për të parë tek personat e verbër. Pra, ajo është “e disponueshme” për detyra të tjera. Prandaj njerëzit e verbër kanë më tepër kapacitet për të përpunuar gjuhën.
